Do Something Principle

We might think to take action we need something like this:
Inspiration → Motivation → Action
But it actually works like this:
Action → Inspiration → Motivation
Once we do something, even if it’s small, it would soon give us the inspiration and motivation to do something else. Those actions send a signal to our brain, “ok, I did that, I guess I can do more.”
Your actions create further inspiration and move on to motivate your future actions. It becomes an endless loop:
So, start small but start toh kar
– Start writing that article. Aim for one paragraph. Soon you’ll have 1000 words.
– Aim to read 5 pages a day. One day, you’ll complete that book.
– Start with one exercise. Soon, you’ll have the motivation to complete your workout.
