Death Meditation

Death meditation is not the usual kind of meditation. You don’t have to keep your focus on your breath and blame yourself for getting distracted. Nothing to worry about here.

Imagine you are on your death bed. You are surrounded by your partner, children, relatives, friends, and some unknown people. They are talking about you. Now, ask yourself  “What do you want them to talk about you? How do you want to be remembered?”

– Do you want to be remembered as someone who was the most helpful and happiest person they knew?
– Do you want to be remembered as someone who was determined and always achieved what they wanted to?
– Do you want to be remembered as someone who has changed the world?

You might or might not get the answers in the first go. Keep trying until you do. Once you do, start trying to connect that purpose with a career(s)

Just make sure the purpose isn’t something someone else wants you to achieve. E.g. If you want to be a scientist, make sure you’re not thinking about it because your parents or the world wants you to be one. Make sure you’re doing it for yourself.
