Ego in Business

Date: 3 Nov 2025

I’m starting to realize how I’ve been wrong in many ways in approaching sales and business. All this time, I have been talking about FRWD as an exclusive premium agency, which made me close doors to opportunities. That ego made me only choose projects that are high-ticket. Ever since we’ve got Chaicup and Sevva, my mindset has shifted. I thought if we’re able to get such high-ticket clients, then are must be more people who can afford it so why should I waste time on small clients?

When it took me the same amount of time to convince a 40k client vs a 1.5L client, then why should I waste time on the 40k ones? What I didn’t realize is that we’re still small. We’ve probably only set the first layer of foundation. There’s still much more to do. Once we’re all set and the business is thriving, then I can be choosy. Until then, I need to work my way through it.

Closing down services like LinkedIn outbound was purely an ego move I think. Ki hum Branding firm hain toh hum sirf exclusively branding services he dena chahte hain. But we’re still small.

And I need to start prioritizing the top 5 things only. Too many things are distracting me from the main work and are only keeping me busy. It isn’t resulting in any productive output. I need to plan my days and hours properly. 10 hours a day is good, but utilizing it correctly would mean more.
